In 1950, Clell James Hall founded Hall Lane Moving & Storage with nothing more than determination, a dream, and a truck without a motor. For two months, he towed that truck to customers’ homes using his personal vehicle. After loading, he would tell customers he was having engine trouble and would meet them at their destination. Every job was completed, and eventually, he saved enough money to buy a motor and grow what is now one of the most trusted names in moving on Long Island.
That perseverance and commitment to service still define us today. Over 75 years later, Hall Lane is still proudly family owned and operated by Clell’s sons, John and Alan Hall.
