Hall Lane Moving & Storage Hosted our 1st Annual Truck Pull to Benefit Move for Hunger

This year we hosted our very first annual truck pull and it was a success. We hosted this event to benefit the Move for Hunger Charity and raised over $10,000 as well as collected non-perishable items. Approximately 283,700 people on Long Island receive emergency food yearly, including 1 in 8 children. We want to work together to help fight hunger in our own community.

We had a great turn out at our event. 20 teams participated in the truck pull and our Hall Lane Ladies unofficially placed 3^rd in the truck pull. There were some other supporters there and even WBAB and News 12 documenting the event.

Move for Hunger is a great charity that works with the relocation industry to help rescue food waste that is being thrown away when families move. Instead, they will take the perfectly good food and move it to nearby food banks to work to fight hunger.

We want to give a special thanks to everyone who participated and helped with this event. It was incredible that we were able to raise over $10,000. We look forward to the next truck pull and cannot wait to continue giving back to our community and working towards an end to hunger.
